Self-cleaning belt mounted magnetic separators are preferred in industrial applications where automatic cleaning of unwanted metals in the conveyor belt is required. Magnetic separators located perpendicular or parallel to the same plane on conveyor lines with continuous production drain the ferrometals held in the magnetic field created in the relevant area on the conveyor to the desired part at the point where the magnetic field ends by rotating the continuous belt on the separator itself.

On-band natural magnetic separators consist of neodymium and ferrite magnetisms depending on the application site.
