SINGLE AND DUAL SENSOR DETECTORS
SINGLE SENSOR
Single-sensor detectors are installed at the bottom of the conveyor belt.
They detect in one direction. They detect metals mixed with the material passing over the conveyor that are large enough to damage crushers and other machinery, and they emit a signal with light, sound, and relay output.
– They are used in areas where material is transported on the conveyor belt.
– They have adjustable detection sensitivity ranges.
– The metal detector control panel has a digital display, and settings are made using numerical values.
– There is an interference adjustment menu to prevent interference, false alarms, ground, and radio signals.
– They are easy to install and require no structural modifications to the conveyor system.
– The metal detector warning and alert system is audible or illuminated, and does not require any additional connections.
– They can be easily used on belts attached with metal tacks (rivets). The rivet sensor connection is standard and can be retrofitted.
DUAL SENSOR
Dual-sensor detectors are installed in a tunnel configuration.
– They are more sensitive than single-sensor metal detectors and are used in areas where the material above the belt is greater than 15 cm high.
– They offer high sensitivity. They are used in areas where the belt is conveyed and in reciprocating feed units.
– They are used with material above the belt heights up to 600 mm. Metal detection sensitivity is inversely proportional to the sensor range.
– As the sensor range increases, detection sensitivity decreases, and as the range decreases, sensitivity increases.
The metal detector control panel has a digital display, and settings are made using numerical values.
– Interference adjustments, false alarm settings, product rejection system connections, and faulty product count reset parameters are available.
